Medicare Advantage Plans in the Midwest
I help Midwest residents compare Medicare Advantage plans from the top-rated carriers, so you get the coverage that actually fits your doctors, prescriptions, and budget.
Who this is for
- Turning 65 in the next 6 months
- Currently on Original Medicare and considering Advantage
- Unhappy with your current Medicare Advantage plan
- New to the Midwest and need to compare local plans
What's covered
Part A + Part B
Advantage plans bundle hospital and medical coverage in one plan.
Prescription drugs
Most Medicare Advantage plans include Part D drug coverage.
Extra benefits
Many plans add dental, vision, hearing, gym memberships, and OTC allowances.
Out-of-pocket maximum
Advantage plans cap your yearly medical costs - Original Medicare does not.
How I help
- 1Confirm your doctors and preferred hospitals are in-network on any plan we consider.
- 2Check that your prescriptions are on the plan's formulary at a reasonable tier.
- 3Compare monthly premium, deductible, copays, and the max out-of-pocket - not just the headline price.
- 4Handle the enrollment paperwork and stay your agent year after year.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to work with an agent for Medicare Advantage?
Nothing. Premiums are the same whether you enroll on your own or through a licensed broker. Insurance companies pay agents when you enroll - you pay the same premium either way.
When can I enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan in the Midwest?
You can enroll during your Initial Enrollment Period around your 65th birthday, during the Annual Enrollment Period (Oct 15 - Dec 7), during the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (Jan 1 - Mar 31), or with a Special Enrollment Period after certain life events.
Do my doctors take Medicare Advantage plans in the Midwest?
It depends on the plan. Different Medicare Advantage plans have different networks. Send me the names of your doctors and preferred hospitals and I'll check which plans include them before you enroll.
Can I switch plans if my current Medicare Advantage plan isn't working?
Yes. You can typically switch during the Annual Enrollment Period each fall, and there are additional windows for Medicare Advantage. Reach out and I'll help you compare options.
