Frequently asked questions
Why do I need an annual insurance review?
Plans change every year - premiums, drug formularies, provider networks, deductibles, and extra benefits all get adjusted. What was the best plan last year might not be the best plan this year.
When is the best time for a review?
For Medicare, during the Annual Enrollment Period (Oct 15 - Dec 7). For ACA plans, during Open Enrollment (Nov 1 - Jan 15). For life and supplemental coverage, any time works - especially after a life event.
Do I have to switch plans if we review?
No. Most years I confirm your current plan is still the best fit and we do nothing. Reviews are about making sure you're not overpaying or missing better coverage - never about switching for the sake of switching.
What does a review cost?
Nothing. Annual reviews are part of being your agent. Carriers pay me when you enroll, so ongoing service is included at no cost to you.
